During this month of March, many regions have benefited from the high amount of water coming from the rain. Among these areas we can find the Terra Alta.
As you may know, in Gandesa the subject of rain has been a topic of much controversy during the last year. There is talk of a historic drought that especially affects the production and quality of the grapes, and therefore has been an issue that has generated uncertainty among wineries and others affected.
However, during this month of March in Gandesa approximately 150 liters of water have been registered, a welcome water for the area that has fallen progressively, which has allowed a correct absorption in the soil.
The Terra Alta region has proven to be resilient over the years, an area characterized by our adaptation to variable climatic conditions, a rainfed area. Thus, each vintage has its own story and this 2025 season promises to be interesting, with a balance between increasing humidity and high temperatures in the coming months.
