At Celler Josep Vicens we are celebrating since the Peñín Guide scores were published last July 20th.
Peñín is the leading company in the promotion and dissemination of Spanish wine culture at national and international level and, annually, they publish the renowned Peñín Guide of the Spanish wines. For those of you who don't know it, this Spanish wine manual is the most complete in the world and is used by professionals and amateurs to make decisions when buying Spanish wine.
In this latest edition of the Peñín Guide, the Josep Vicens Cellar has obtained good scores for a total of six wines: Lo Syrah del Grau a frank, clayey and chalky wine where Josep Vicens Vallespi, the fourth generation of the Cellar, introduced this variety in Terra Alta in 1991. This very special wine has been scored with 93 points. The rest of the scored wines are Lo Divuit Graus, Mon Iaio Sisco Homenatge, Ma Iaia Cinta Homenatge, Ma Iaia Cinta Origen and Mon Iaio Sisco Origen, where all five have individually achieved a score of 90 points.
Once again, we appreciate the recognition for the effort of our work. We will continue to work to always achieve the best possible product.
