This concentrated, fresh, mineral Carignan, made with grapes from old vines, is a tribute to Granpa Sisco, a hard-working, self-sacrificing, passionate farmer, and Valentí, who more than 80 years ago chose to plant Carignan grapes in Terra Alta.

An exciting, intense wine,

with absolute harmony. Violets,

marzipan, blueberries, coffee

and chocolate

Tasting note

Nose

The initial impact is chocolate, blueberries, refined notes of marzipan and roasted coffee. Then pine resin and a hint of sea breeze, black cardamom, cinnamon, pepper and kola nut. A hint of violet shows the delicate side of this powerful wine.

Mouth

Elegant, easy-drinking wine, with tannins verging on sweet. The harmony of this wine is even more noteworthy because it is so intense. A deep, persistent wine, with blueberries, cocoa and cinnamon, plus a hint of toffee. In the finish, aromas of violet and black olive.
